Cooperation & Win-Win: Building a Strategic Pivot for Education Opening-Up in Central China
On November 25, 2025, the 9th HCH International Education Cooperation Conference was held at Central China Normal University. Nearly 300 education representatives from the United States, Germany, the United Kingdom, Indonesia, India, Pakistan and other countries and regions gathered in Wuhan to discuss education opening-up and high-quality development.

Expand the 9th Edition Review
Under the theme of cooperation and mutual benefit, the programme combined an opening ceremony, parallel sessions and an international education exhibition in both in-person and online formats. Representatives of education authorities, CCNU and foreign diplomatic missions attended.
Delegates discussed youth exchange, quality management of cooperative education, the Study in China and Study in Hubei brands, and vocational education going global. The exhibition showcased institutional achievements, while secondary school study-tour groups visited the campus and exhibition.
During the signing session, overseas and Chinese institutions concluded cooperation agreements covering international education, collaborative research and student and faculty exchange.

Cooperation & Win-Win: New Momentum for High-Level Education Opening-Up
On October 23, 2024, the 8th HCH International Education Cooperation Conference was held at Huazhong Agricultural University. More than 300 guests shared experience in high-level education opening-up, while nine pairs of Chinese and overseas institutions reached cooperation intentions online and in person.

On November 16, 2023, the 7th HCH International Education Cooperation Conference was held in Wuhan. Representatives from six countries and regions joined education delegates from Hubei, while eight Chinese-international university partnerships were signed.

On November 16, 2022, the 6th HCH International Education Cooperation Conference was held in Wuhan. More than 200 representatives of education authorities, Chinese and overseas institutions, and education organizations joined online and in person for keynote addresses, project presentations and partnership signings.

Ten Editions
Since the inaugural edition in 2017, the Conference has been held for nine consecutive editions, hosting nearly 1,000 overseas guests and facilitating close to a hundred cooperation agreements. 2026 marks the 10th edition and the 10th anniversary.
